Work in Ministry

The Resurrection

On Sunday morning (now celebrated as Easter), the Gospels report, Jesus rose from the dead and met his disciples

Ministry is separate for God and the Gospels speaks from past things new things
old things
Ministers are trusted with the Gospel of Jesus Christ
1 Thessalonians 2:42
For you yourselves know, brothers,3 that our coming to you was not in vain. 2 But though we had already suffered and been shamefully treated at Philippi, as you know, we had boldness in our God to declare to you the gospel of God in the midst of much conflict.
1 Timothy 1:11
11 in accordance with the glorious gospel of the blessed God with which I have been entrusted
Ministry has authority from God

To be a light for the gospel of Jesus Christ
2 Corinthians 10:88
For even if I boast a little too much of your authority, which the Lord gave for building you up and not for destroying you, I will not be ashamed.

2 Corinthians 13:10
For this reason I write these things while I am away from you, that when I come I may not have to be severe in my use of the authority that the Lord has given me for building up and not for tearing down

Jesus Christ,
The savior believed to be both God incarnate and a human being. He is also known as the son of God
In Christianity, the son of God and the second person of the
Holy Trinity.
Christian doctrine holds that by his crucifixion and resurrection he paid for the sins of all mankind.
His life and ministry are recounted in the four Gospels of the New Testament. He was born a Jew in Bethlehem before the death of Herod the Great in 4 BC, and he died while Pontius Pilate was Roman governor of Judaea (AD 28 – 30).
His mother, Mary, was married to Joseph, a carpenter of Nazareth (see St. Joseph). Of his childhood after the birth narratives in Matthew and Luke, nothing is known, except for one visit to Jerusalem with his parents.
He began his ministry about age 30, becoming a preacher, teacher, and healer. He gathered disciples in the region of Galilee, including the 12 Apostles, and preached the imminent arrival of the Kingdom of God.
His moral teachings, outlined in the Sermon on the Mount, and his reported miracles won him a growing number of followers, who believed that he was the promised messiah.

On Passover he entered Jerusalem on a donkey, where he shared the Last Supper with his disciples and was betrayed to the Roman authorities by Judas Iscariot. Arrested and tried, he was condemned to death as a political agitator and was crucified and buried. Three days later visitors to his tomb found it empty. According to the Gospels, he appeared several times to his disciples before ascending into heaven. The New Testament states very clearly that the risen Christ did not appear to everybody.
"God … made him manifest; not to all the people but to us who were chosen by God as witnesses, who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead"
(Acts 10:40-41).

Among those who saw Jesus were Cephas (Peter), the 12 disciples, "more than five hundred brethren at one time," James, "all the apostles," and finally Paul. Other records tell of appearances to Mary Magdalene and other women and of a variety of meetings with the disciples both in the Jerusalem area and in Galilee.
The four Gospels all say that the tomb of Jesus was empty on Easter morning, but Paul never mentions the empty tomb.
None of the records ever tells of an appearance of the risen Christ to anyone who had not been a follower of Jesus or (like Paul) had not been deeply disturbed by him

Called to DISCIPLESHIP
A disciple of Jesus Christ is a person that picks up his cross and follows Jesus and his teaching (cross)=instrument.=suffering to death)

Matthew 10:32-3932 So everyone who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven,
33 but pwhoever denies me before men, qI also will deny before my Father who is in heaven.
Following Jesus will lead you to suffering, and death of the flesh Luke 22:28
Verses 21–38

How unbecoming is the worldly ambition of being the greatest, to the character of a follower of Jesus, who took upon him the form of
a servant, and humbled himself to the death of the cross! In the way to eternal happiness, we must expect to be assaulted and sifted by Satan. If he cannot destroy, he will try to disgrace or distress us. Nothing more certainly forebodes a fall, in a professed follower of Christ, than self-confidence, with disregard to warnings, and contempt of danger. Unless we watch and pray always, we may be drawn in the course of the day into those sins which we were in the morning most resolved against. If believers were left to themselves, they would fall; but they are kept by the power of God, and the prayer of Christ.

Our Lord gave notice of a very great change of circumstances now approaching. The disciples must not expect that their friends would be kind to them as they had been. Therefore, he that has a purse, let him take it, for he may need it. They must now expect that their enemies would be more fierce than they had been, and they would need weapons. At the time the apostles understood Christ to mean real weapons, but he spake only of the weapons of the spiritual warfare. The sword of the Spirit is the sword with which the disciples of Christ must furnish themselves.
L 22:21

Lead by the Holy Spirit Of God Acts 16:116 Paul came also to Derbe and to Lystra. A disciple was there, named zTimothy, athe son of
a Jewish woman who was a believer, Well may the church look for much service from youthful ministers who set out in the same spirit as Timothy. But when men will submit in nothing, and oblige in nothing, the first elements of the Christian temper seem to be wanting; and there is great reason to believe that the doctrines and precepts of the gospel will not be successfully taught.

Servant hood=Giving; Beneficence; Charitableness; Duty, of Person to Person; Liberality; Love.
Matthew 20:26 . 25 But Jesus called them to him and said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles ilord it over them, and their great ones exercise authority over them. 26 It shall not be so among you. But whoever would be great among you must be your servant, 27 and whoever would be first among you must be your slave, 28 even as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and lto give his life as a ransom for mmany.”
Be strong in Grace 2 Timothy 2:1 2 You then, wmy child, xbe strengthened by the grace that is in Christ Jesus,  and what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men who will be able to teach others also. Share in suffering as
a good soldier of Christ Jesus.
Preparation for ministry =Forgiveness Proverbs 19:1Good sense makes one slow to anger, and it is his glory to overlook an offense. Elisha was to take the place of Elijah, 2 Kings 1:13 And he took up the cloak of Elijah that had fallen from him and went back and stood on the bank of the Jordan.

CHRIST MISSION IS OUR COMMISSION JESUS GAVE HIS LIFE A RANSOM FOR MANY Matthew 20:26-28

But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant: Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give
his life a ransom for many. Ransom - Redemptive Price

CHRIST THE EVANGELIST Luke 4:43-44 And he said unto them, I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also: for
therefore am I sent. 44 And he preached in the synagogues of Galilee. WE MUST SEEK AND SAVE THE LOST Luke 19:10
For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost,
Lost - apollumi, ap-ol'-loo-mee — destroy, die, lose, mar, perish.

JESUS CAME TO SAVE THE WORLD John 3:17
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

JESUS GIVES LIFE MORE ABUNDANTLY John 10:10
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: / am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

JESUS CAME TO SAVE SINNERS I Timothy 1:15
This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners: of whom I am chief.

WE MUST BECOME PREACHERS OF THE GOSPEL Romans 10:12-17
For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. And ye are witnesses of these things. And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.
John 20:21-23
Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I send you. And when he had said this,
he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost: Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them;
and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained. Acts 1:6-8

When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

WE MUST PREACH EVERYWHERE Acts 8:4

Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word. Luke 10:1-16

THE GREAT COMMISSION

Matthew 28:18-20
And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Mark 16:14-20
Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen. And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
Luke 24:47-49 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
There is a lot of confusion about the Ten Commandments given to Moses by God.

Many people believe that they must follow the Law so that they can go to heaven, but the Bible does not say that!
1 Timothy 1:8 states, "But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully."

The Ten Commandments are good if you use them the right way, but some people use them the wrong way.
God never intended for us to keep them in an effort to
go to heaven. So why were the Commandments given?

The Commandments show our SIN
Romans 3:20 states, "...for by the law is the knowledge of sin. "The Commandments were given to show us that we are sinners. I Timothy 1:9 also proves this, "Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners..."

The Commandments do not take away our sin, they show us our sin!
The Commandments show our SUFFERING
Galatians 3:10 says, "For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that conutinueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them." There is a curse on all people who have not kept the Commandments.

What is that curse? Spiritual death is the curse! "For the wages of sin is death..." (Romans 6:23)"... the soul that sinneth, it shall die." (Ezekiel 18:4)

The fact is, all have sinned and all have broken these Commandments. There is not one person alive that has kept all of the Commandments. All men are under the curse of death in hell for breaking God's Commandments.
Trying to follow the Commandments does not remove the guilt and does not remove the curse!
The Commandments give us no hope. In 2 Corinthians 3:7, the Commandments are called "the ministration of death."
The Commandments show our STUMBLING
Many people believe that if they try to keep the Commandments, God might have mercy on them and forgive them. This is never taught in the Bible. The opposite is taught. In fact, there are two things that the Law cannot do.

The Law cannot forgive sin. Galatians 2:16 says that"...a man is not justified by the works of the law." Justified is another word for forgiveness. God says no person can be forgiven by the Commandments!
(See also Galatians 3:11, 5:4; Romans 3:20,3:28)

The Law cannot give righteousness. We know that we cannot go to heaven unless we are righteous. Some hope to become righteous by trying to keep the Law. God warns us of this error in Galatians 2:21,
"...if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain." If you think that you can become righteous by following the Commandments, you are replacing
Christ's work on the cross with your works.

Only Jesus can make you righteous, not your works!
Maybe you are trusting the wrong thing. You need to change your mind and trust Christ instead of the
Ten Commandments. Jesus cannot help you as long as you are trusting the Law.

"Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law" (Galatians 5:4)
The Commandments show us the we need saving, threw Jesus  We just stated that the Law cannot forgive sins and it cannot give righteousness. The good news is that Jesus can! The most important lesson of the Law is that we are sinners and need Jesus to forgive us.
Galatians 3:24-25 states, "Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.

" The Law is only a teacher. It shows us our need of Jesus. We cannot earn forgiveness for our sins, but He can give us forgiveness as a free gift, "...the gin of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23) If you receive Jesus today, He will make you free..
GOD'S POWER IS EVERLASTING

GOD'S AWESOME POWER AT THE RED SEA

Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea into dry land, and the waters were divided. So the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea on the dry ground, and the waters were a wall to them on their right hand and on then- left.
Then the LORD said to Moses, "Stretch out your hand over the sea, that the waters may come back upon the Egyptians, on their chariots, and on their horsemen." And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and when the morning appeared, the sea returned to its full depth, while the Egyptians were fleeing into it.
So the LORD overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea. Then the waters returned and covered the chariots, the horsemen, and all the army of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them. Not so much as one of them remained.
So the LORD saved Israel that day out of the hand of the Egyptians, and Israel saw the Egyptians dead on the seashore. Thus Israel saw the great work which the LORD had done in Egypt. -Exodus 14:21,22,26-28,30,31a

NO MIRACLE IS TOO BIG FOR GOD Fed a Million People 40 Years
"At twilight you shall eat meat, and in the morning you shall be filled with bread. And you shall know that I am the LORD your God." So it was that quails came up at evening and covered the camp, and in the morning the dew lay all around the camp. And when the layer of dew lifted, there, on the surface of the wilderness, was a small round substance, as fine as frost on the ground. So when the children of Israel saw it, they said to one another, "What is it?" And the children of Israel ate manna forty years, until they came to an inhabited land. —Exodus 16:12b-15a and 35a

GOD IS SO GREAT A DELIVERER!
Then these men were bound in their coats, their trousers, their turbans, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. Therefore, because the king's command was urgent, and the furnace exceedingly hot, the flame of the fire killed those men who took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego. And the satraps, administrators, governors, and the king's counselors gathered together, and they saw these men on whose bodies the fire had no power; the hair of their head was not singed nor were their garments affected, and the smell of fire was not on them. —Daniel 3:21,22 and 27
So the king gave the command, and they brought Daniel and cast him into the den of lions. But the king spoke, saying to Daniel,

O king, I have done no wrong before you." —Daniel 6:16 and 21,22

Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God. And whatever we ask we receive from Him,
because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight. —1 John 3:21,22
Jesus said to him, "If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes." —Mark 9:23
For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us. —2 Corinthians 1:20

The Word of God tells us clearly that there are seven manifestations of the anointing in Scripture. One of them is for prosperity:
"Thou shalt remember the lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day"
(Deuteronomy 8:18).
I believe with all my heart that this anointing belongs to you as a child of God, for you are a covenant person with covenant rights!
You have the legal, heavenly right to prosper as a Christian. God wants to bless your life and make you a blessing in these last days so that the Gospel of His Son Jesus might be preached to the nations.
I will tell you how this anointing for prosperity is released, but first let me name the seven manifestations of the anointing found in Scripture: an anointing for preaching, for teaching, for healing, for deliverance from bondage, for the prophetic, for worship, and for prosperity.

It was because of this anointing for prosperity that God blessed the nation of Israel on their way out of Egypt, for '' He declared through Moses to the people that He would give them favor in the sight of the Egyptians as they borrowed silver, gold, and raiment for their journeys: The children of Israel did according to the word of Moses; and they borrowed of the Egyptians jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment: And the lord gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they lent unto them such things as they required. And they spoiled the Egyptians.
(Exodus 12:35-36)
Can you imagine, three million Israelites knocking on countless Egyptian doors asking for gold, silver, raiment, and provisions for their journey, and an entire nation granting their request at midnight? The wealth of Egypt was literally poured out upon the Israelites — and all their needs were met — because of the incredible power of the prosperity anointing.

Only the favor of God could do that... and that is the anointing for prosperity! It was the same anointing that we see and read about when Peter preached to the church to go sell their land and properties and bring the money to the church.
And all that believed were together, and had all things common; and sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need. And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
(Acts 2:44-47)
What would move thousands of people to obey him? Only the anointing!
It was that anointing in the Old Testament also that rested on the life of Abraham, who had favor in the sight of Pharaoh (Genesis 12). It was that anointing on the life of Isaac that gave him the wealth of Abimelech

(Genesis 26). It was that same anointing on Joseph that promoted him everywhere he went. And it was that anointing on the life of Solomon that caused the world to honor him with gold, silver, and jewels beyond description!
It is that same anointing that Moses talked about: "All these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the lord thy God. Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field"
(Deuteronomy 28:2-3).
And it was also that prosperity anointing mentioned in verse 12: "The lord shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand."
Only this anointing can accomplish these things for either a nation or a person! It was also the prosperity anointing that our Lord Jesus spoke of when He said, "Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again"
(Luke 6:38).
Notice the reference to "men giving into your bosom." In Scripture, the reference to the bosom is a reference to a "place of comfort," so that literally means that men (the people and circumstances that surround you) will give and add blessings to your life that pertain to the peace and comfort of your own life and that of your family's. So why would a man give you anything unless God had placed an anointing on your life?
It is the power of that blessed anointing!
I believe this anointing belongs to you as a child of God! It is your covenant right to have it every day. But it is giving that releases the treasures of heaven on your life and triggers the anointing for prosperity.
A spiritual miracle demands a spiritual act, while a physical miracle demands a physical act, and a financial miracle demands a financial act. When someone is saved they must confess Christ publicly. When someone is healed, they must step out in faith. And you cannot prosper financially unless you act in faith as you give to God's work.

That is how the anointing for prosperity is released.
That is the order of Scripture. It is impossible to prosper without an act of faith, and it is impossible without an act of faith occurring and reoccurring continually in our life.

Miracles happen when we give God something to work with. And when we sow seed into His kingdom, we release our faith so God can use what we give for His glory and our prosperity!
I want to do something for you that I feel strongly in my spirit that I need to do and you need to experience. Take a step of faith and sow a seed for the work of the Lord. ... that is, until God steps in. Scripture declares that when you and I agree "as touching any thing they shall ask, it shall be done for them"
(Matthew 18:19). What an amazing promise!
That way, you and I will always have this point of contact and this will be a faith-builder for you as you see God meet your every need.
I truly feel that this is an important, life-changing time for the prosperity anointing, and I want to do whatever I can to encourage you to understand and claim the promises that are available to you as a covenant believer.
Be courageous today. Be bold. Step into your covenant position and your prosperity anointing. Secure your financial tomorrow with a step of faith so the prosperity anointing will 'be released upon you.

Act today! As a step of faith, send us your most generous seed-gift. Love you always and thank you for being a brother or sister in Christ
